Taigene Electric Machinery Partners with National Taipei University for Tea Garden Restoration Project

To support land conservation, plant trees, and address aging labor in tea gardens, Taigene Electric Machinery actively promotes CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) initiatives. In 2024, the company partnered with National Taipei University to implement a tea garden restoration project, in collaboration with Sanxia Tianfang Tea, while organizing volunteer activities for employees.

 

The project included soil loosening, weeding, fertilizing, tea packaging, tea tasting, and learning about Sanxia tea culture. Conducted in three sessions, a total of 32 Taigene employees and their family members participated. During the first session on April 27, 2024, volunteers focused on weeding the tea garden paths, gaining firsthand appreciation of the labor-intensive work of tea farmers. In addition to restoration work, Tianfang Tea arranged hands-on experiences in tea picking and processing, introducing participants to the rich Sanxia tea culture. Attendees left with valuable knowledge and a deeper connection to both the land and local traditions.

 

Taigene Electric Machinery aims to continue promoting CSR initiatives, encouraging more employees to participate, and contributing to energy conservation, carbon reduction, and the stewardship of the land.
