Taigene Blood Donation Drive Supports Community and Saves Lives

The World Health Organization states that “blood donation is an act of solidarity that helps save lives.” Inspired by this belief, Taigene Electric Machinery invited employees, colleagues from its affiliate Taigene Metal, and members of the local community to participate in a blood donation drive and contribute to society together.

 

To prepare for the event, the company’s Safety and Health Office began organizing participation surveys and announcing the activity schedule earlier in the year. The event was held in cooperation with the Hsinchu Blood Center, with an initial target of collecting 20,000 c.c. of blood.

 

On April 30, 2024, under clear skies, senior executives led the initiative by donating blood alongside employees. A total of 69 participants joined the event, collecting 91 bags of blood (22,750 c.c.), exceeding the original target.

 

Seeing so many colleagues and community members participate was truly inspiring. A single bag of blood can help save up to three lives, and every donation represents an act of generosity and care. Taigene hopes this initiative will continue spreading kindness and positive energy in society, encouraging more people to take action and support blood donation in the future.
