EMB Brake Motor
Automotive braking systems can be divided into wet braking systems (with hydraulic pressure) and dry braking systems (without hydraulic pressure). The hydraulic pressure of wet braking systems may come from either an engine or a motor. Compared to engines, motors used to generate hydraulic pressure have advantages such as speed, precision, and energy efficiency. EMB (Electro-Mechanical Brake) is a fully electronically controlled braking system classified as a dry braking system, using a motor to drive the brake calipers instead of hydraulic power, offering benefits like fast response, high precision control, and no hydraulic lines. EMB motors are usually installed near the brake calipers where space is extremely limited, requiring the design of motor components to be very compact, making the most of every millimeter. Additionally, thermal management is also a significant challenge in EMB motor design.
Ta Chuen has been mass-producing wet brake motors for many years and is currently collaborating with multiple clients in developing EMB motors. Ta Chuen possesses comprehensive CAE capabilities (electromagnetic, thermal flow, mechanical) and has over 20 years of mass production experience in automotive safety components, complete in-house verification capabilities (ISO 17025 compliant), and quality systems, making it the best partner for collaborative development.
EPS (Electric Power Steering)
EPS electronic steering systems are now widely used in automobiles, with one in every eight new cars globally featuring an EPS motor produced by Ta Chuen each year. In addition to the commonly seen CEPS, PEPS, and REPS, Ta Chuen has also completed the development and is mass-producing rear-wheel steering motors for high-end models and the latest steer-by-wire technology motors. Ta Chuen has been deeply involved in the EPS field for over 20 years, with complete CAE capabilities (electromagnetic, thermal flow, mechanical), full in-house verification capabilities (ISO 17025 compliant), and quality systems, making it the ideal partner for collaborative development.
E-Compressor Motor
The E-Compressor Motor replaces the engine-driven compressor, improving on high energy consumption and speed limitations, allowing electric vehicles to operate the compressor continuously even when stationary, thus providing a comfortable cabin environment with heating and cooling. The voltage for the compressor drive motors typically ranges from 400V to 800V, requiring very high conversion efficiency. Ta Chuen is currently developing the compressor drive motor and has complete CAE capabilities (electromagnetic, thermal flow, mechanical), with full in-house verification capabilities (ISO 17025 compliant) and quality systems, positioning it as the best partner for collaborative development.
Others
Ta Chuen Motor is a professional automotive motor supplier, having focused on EPS electronic steering motors for over 20 years. It also has extensive experience in developing brake motors, compressor drive motors, and wheel hub motors. Ta Chuen possesses complete CAE capabilities (electromagnetic, thermal flow, mechanical) along with comprehensive in-house verification capabilities (ISO 17025 compliant) and quality systems, making it the best partner for collaborative development.
