Established in 1970, Taigene first made its home in the Puxin area of Yangmei District, in Taoyuan City, and built its first factory there. It manufactured lodestone generators and high voltage coils for motorcycles, and these were chosen by Yamaha, Sanyang, Suzuki, and other motorcycle firms for their use. Thus was laid the corporate foundation of Taigene Electric Machinery.

It was an arduous journey in the beginning. But under the leadership of President Shuang-Lin Chung, the entire staff made relentless progress in innovation and research, successively developing and producing motorcycle starter generators, voltage regulators, automotive starter motors, generators, wiper motors and other electrical equipment. The company supplied various domestic makers and centers of cars and motorcycles, thus ensuring Taigene Electric Machinery’s path towards a great enterprise.

To fulfill ever increasing demands for our products, satisfy the various requests from centers and manufacturers, meet expansion needs that come with increased production, and provide a better working environment for our employees, we considered our future in the international market, evaluated our own competitive strengths, and move to Longtan in 1978, where we are today. There we up-scaled our entire business, successively completing constructions of an air-conditioning plant, electronics plant, and testing laboratory, as well as expansions to our electrical parts plants for 2 wheel and 4 wheel vehicles, further cementing a base for Taigene Electric Machinery’s success.

Through constant additions of new equipment and inspection facility, research of precision technology, and upgrades to production capabilities, as well as its wielding its advantage of being able integrating products from related industries, Taigene gives its all in providing better, more comprehensive services for all its customers, and takes solid steps towards its goal of internationalization and sustainable operation.
